Days at Zasteni

We have arrived at Zasteni.  I have put the journey route on a map showing our progress from London all the way to Sully, then down to Koroni and then Northwest to Zasteni.

We are now staying with Vincent and Marie-Pauline and have settled into life at Zasteni.  The house nestles into the olive groves on the hill.  This is a shot from the boat:

Our daily life is very relaxing with swimming, computer game playing, painting and visits to fantastic Taverna:

Tay and Lexa settled into the back of the car for their route down:

At the beach which is just north of Moni’s house where we are staying.  It has internet so Za and I are glued to our internet:

Brother and Sister cooking

Gavin and Zara (Daisy Viviana) were happily cooking together sardines:

Gav was doing a fine job of filleting tiny sardines so they would be palatable for the children and the only disagreement was whether the lemon should squeezed on before or after cooking. So a compromise was done with the lemon on before and after:

The finished sardines were eaten so quickly i only got a picture on the cooking tray.

Albania - with four wheels

we have just arrived from Montenegro which was very pretty and have just crossed the border into Albania.

Albania and selling Rabbits on the Motorway

We are at the bottom of Albania after passing amazing mounting scenery and mixtures of transport on the motorway from horse and cart to every second car being a Mercedes to a man selling rabbits on the motorway by standing in the middle under a bridge and holding them up by the ears to passing motorists.
we didn't get a picture as unlike a car we saw later turn on to the motorway and drive down the fast lane the wrong way.

The GPS map only had a couple of Albanian roads on it so took a picture of a convenient roadside map and we travelled down the coast road.
All in a hurry to break camp and on to Burtrint and Greece

Venice Day 2

We have just done our first day touring in Venice.
Just before the camera battery ran out we got a couple of pictures.

We have toured the Doges Palace and Manet exhibition after much reluctance from the junior members.  This improved a lot when we looked at the sword and arms collection which were plentiful.  Off to dinner with a friend of Zara which could be fun.
